The TreeTag uses LoRaWan networking technology, this means that you must have a hub between your new TreeTag and the internet or you will not be able to access the health data of your tree.
We offer two types of pre-configured gateways based on your access to power in the field.
For installations where mains power is available close by, we recommend the Kerlink PDTIOT, powered via Power over Internet. The Kerlink gateway can connect via ethernet or cell data, we can provide support for setting up this data connection.
For installations where solar power is required, we recommend the Milesight SG50 solar powered gateway. Note that for a solar powered Milesight gateway the only way to get data is via cell data. We can provide support for setting up a sim card but we are unable to provide a pre-configured sim card. Â
